Wildfire Surveillance Autonomy

From Fast-Mixing Coverage to Smooth Risk-Aware Aerial Search

A multi-paper research line on aerial surveillance in large uncertain environments. The work starts at the map level — how a drone team should redistribute over a changing spatial risk field — and moves toward scalable Markov-policy design, continuous-time optimization dynamics, and smooth quadrotor search over unknown local utility maps. Motivated by wildfire surveillance and large-area environmental monitoring, it connects area allocation with real-time executable flight behavior.
